Having made their pickup off the Arizona & California, the Cadiz Local returns west through Amboy at sunset behind four B40-8Ws.

Santa Fe, all the way!!! The holiday-outlawed Cadiz Local is finally making its way back home to Barstow with some nostalgia-inducing power! Just a quick grab off the road before chasing on!

Passing through Minneola BNSF 543 leads it's train that will be dropped in a siding further down the line and the power will return light to Barstow.

With BNSF's recent power shortage, trains are being moved out of the yard and parked in sidings along the Needles Sub, such the case with this eastbound with the normal Cadiz Local power.

With the US Borax mine at Boron visible in the distance, BNSF's Boron Local is nearly done with the day's work, and will soon be heading back out onto the mainline for the return trip to Barstow.
